My love for electronic music started in the early 90’s, when every electronic melody transformed the feelings of the moment into the feelings of living.
The first releases of Layo&Bushwacka, Armand van Helden, LTJ Bukem, Jeff Mills, Carl Cox…a lot of great artists that shaped a generation of people and are still shaping it today. As a clubber I started in a legendary space called „cube“, in the Moliére club in Humenne (Slovakia), and the first big club events in the no less legendary Supalova, Košice. The beginnings of beautiful memories. Followed by more and great Summer of love, Svojšice, Roxy, lots of club events as a clubber, literally.

But as the years went by, the lust to play was getting bigger and bigger. First Omnitronic turntables, first vinyl records bought. The year was 2004-2005. And then there was a fast rush of events, organizing our own events All Night Long in Moliéri in Humenne, events with 200-400 people every gig. First playing with legends of Slovak club scene dj Toky, Boss…(dream come true)
Under the pseudonym LLF I played dozens of events with the sound of broken and tribal techno. Sunny Lakes, Košice, Banská Bystrica, Prešov, Poprad, Šírava, Humenné…local places full of great people. Dozens of sleepless nights and sets played. Plates, records, final scratch, Serato, cd-players, consoles. Anything under your hands, but there can only be one vinyl.

The year 2009 and a slight change of house sound under the new pseudonym Lloyd F. Since then a few gigs, a guest set on Radio_FM, own podcast Blow podcast show (2010 – 2013), local events and more gigs full of great music. Playing with a saxophonist, b2b sets with mates, reminiscing. Today I don’t play anymore, although the equipment is still at home. Priorities have changed, even for the better. Great family, wonderful daughter, loving wife, our mini-bulterier dog Buddy. I currently refer to myself as a backup DJ. I don’t actively play, but I WANT to.

That’s why this website was created, as a memento of what was and isn’t, but at the same time, can be.
